We're Thankful For...
Although we try to practice gratitude every day, it’s sometimes easy to get swept up in the day to day duties of our business; things like production, logistics, troubleshooting, and order fulfillment frequently occupy our minds. So when November rolls around, we welcome the opportunity to pause and recognize the people and organizations who give Hawaiian Ola reason to carry on year after year.
With that in mind, we’re taking a moment in this post to extend a special mahalo to these wonderful folks for whom we are especially thankful:
Our partner farmers who make it possible for us to use a minimum of 50% locally grown ingredients in every product we make. Our farmers include Ned and Marta at Moloa`a Organica`a, Jean at Hala Tree Coffee, Jason at Mahina Mele Farm, Michael at Healing Noni, Whendi at Big Island Bees, Kyle at Manalulu Farm, Jason at Holualoa Kona Coffee Company, and Hawaii Kai Company.
Our retail partners who help us achieve our goal of being widely available throughout Hawaii. These include Foodland, Down to Earth, 7-Eleven, Times, Whole Foods Market, Kokua Market, Safeway, and many others! We’d also like to extend a special welcome to new retail partners who have joined us over the past year, including Juicy Brew, Oahu Fresh, Sprout Sandwich Shop, Keauhou Store, and Banán.
Our community partners who are always open to collaboration and fun ideas. These include Hawai`i Bicycling League, Impact Hub, Kahumana Farm, Hawai`i Public Radio, Blue Zones Project, Mana Ai, Hawai`i Institute of the Pacific Agriculture, Under the Bodhi Tree, Edible Hawaiian Islands, and ‘Aina Provide. You do amazing work and it is a privilege to be part of your community.
And most of all, YOU! We’re so thankful to have a statewide community of supporters who believe in our mission, purchase our products, and help spread the word to others.
We are truly blessed indeed, and couldn’t do it without this amazing group of champions and supporters. We are in this journey together, and we are incredibly lucky to have such good partners in it. Mahalo!
